BOZEMAN KNIFE HISTORY
Bozeman Knife started as Seattle Knife Sharpening & Supply in 2010. With the plan to relocate the business to Bozeman to fish more and eventually retire, Bob moved the business in 2021. Today, Bozeman Knife is owned and operated by Fiona, who took over the business with a deep appreciation for the craft and a vision for where it can go next.
Fiona’s Path
Like Bob before her, Fiona’s path to knife sharpening started in the kitchen. As someone who has always loved cooking, she has always understood the difference a truly sharp knife can make.Taking over an established sharpening business has meant learning from experience and spending countless hours in the shop with Bob. Her attention to detail and genuine curiosity about the craft are at the heart of Bozeman Knife today.
What We Believe
We believe sharpening is about more than making a blade feel sharp. It’s about understanding the person using it and what that knife needs to do. Whether it’s a chef’s favorite kitchen knife, a well-used pocket knife, a hunting blade, or a set of gardening tools, every piece deserves careful attention.
We’re proud to call Bozeman home, but our work doesn’t stop at the Montana border. We sharpen and care for knives for customers nationwide, bringing the same personal service and attention to detail whether you’re dropping something off at our shop or sending it to us from across the country.
